A Black Albinism initiative
I Can See Me
A child who has never seen someone like themselves in a story learns, quietly, that the story is not about them. I Can See Me puts them on the page: books, mentors and school sessions built around children with albinism rather than about them.
It is not a charity appeal and it is not a reading scheme. It is a library a child can see themselves in, and someone further along the road to walk beside them.
The full library, the mentor pairings and the school packs are being built
